KCC awaiting taking in charge (TIC) request for this Kildare estate

Council waiting for TIC request for Woodlawn Estate in Allenwood
Kildare County Council is awaiting receipt of a taking in charge (TIC) request for Woodlawn Estate in Allenwood before TIC can commence, the council has stated.
The council was responding to a question raised by Cathaoirleach Cllr Brendan Wyse at the July Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting, held on Friday July 4 last.
Cllr Wyse had asked the council to provide an update on the ongoing work to progress the taking in charge of Woodlawn Estate in Allenwood.
In its reply, the local authority said that its Development Control department “are awaiting receipt of a taking in charge (TIC) request.”
The council reported there has been “recent engagement” with the developer.
A surface defect snag list has been issued, the council stated, and the developer has confirmed his intention to address these defects and complete the wearing course throughout the development “in the coming weeks.”
It was hoped that the TIC process will progress following completion of these works, the council concluded.
