The joint-managers have guided Laois to three All-Ireland finals and Leinster success since taking charge in 2024

Pat Collier and Robert Jones have been confirmed as joint-managers of the Laois Camogie Intermediate team for the 2027 season.

The pair will enter their fourth year in charge having overseen an impressive period of success for Laois, which has seen the county reach three All-Ireland finals and claim both national and provincial silverware.

Collier and Jones took charge in 2024 and guided Laois to the All-Ireland Premier Junior final in their first season, where they suffered defeat to Tipperary. They went one step further in 2025, defeating Armagh in the Premier Junior final to be crowned All-Ireland champions.

Laois then moved up to the Intermediate Championship in 2026 and reached the All-Ireland final once again, but were beaten by Antrim in Croke Park in August.

There has also been provincial success during their tenure, with Laois finally claiming the Leinster Intermediate Championship in 2026. They had lost the Leinster final in both 2024 and 2025, going down to Wexford in Tullamore in 2024 before Carlow denied them a year later. That disappointment was put to bed this year as Laois defeated Westmeath in the Leinster final in Mullingar to claim provincial honours.

Collier and Jones have also delivered league success during their time in charge. Laois lost the Division 3A final to Armagh in 2024 before bouncing back the following year to defeat Roscommon and claim the title. They came close to reaching a third consecutive league final in 2026 after progressing to Division 2, but narrowly missed out. Meath's last-minute point against Carlow saw them finish ahead of Laois on scoring difference and denied Laois a place in the final.

The 2027 campaign will therefore be the fourth season with Collier and Jones at the helm, as they prepare to lead Laois into another Intermediate Championship campaign.
