Road subsidance at Warren Bridge, Abbeyleix

Repairs are to be carried out on the road from Oldtown/Blackhill in Abbeyleix due to subsidence.

Cllr John Joe Fennelly drew council engineer Wes Wilkinson’s attention to the road at Warren bridge.

“The road is gone down both sides, it is a narrow bridge, and people have to keep to the extreme edge when they meet another car,” Cllr Fennelly explained.
