Longford Gardaí issue fraud alert warning

Longford Gardaí have issued an alert warning members of the public to be vigilant when giving out financial details online.

An Garda Síochána is advising the public to pay particular close attention when considering any unsolicited online communications.

The local Gardaí have issued the fraud alert on their Facebook page saying: “Gardaí continue to deal with reports of scams nationwide and we renew our appeal for people to be extra careful in clicking on links or providing their financial details.”
