Wynne's representing Offaly in style
The Offaly Pool Association would like to extend huge congratulations to Sean and Adam Wynne for their outstanding performance in the Ultimate Pool Pairs Cup, which was televised on TNT Sports.
The father-son duo represented Offaly with pride, showcasing fantastic skill and composure on the big stage. Despite being drawn against two of the world’s top players — Tom Cousins and Shane Thompson — they managed to secure a draw in one of their group matches and were extremely unlucky not to come away with more from the others.
In addition to the Pairs Cup, Adam Wynne has had another exceptional season, winning multiple underage titles both in Offaly and at national level. The highlight of his season was reaching the U-23 All-Ireland semi-final — a tremendous achievement for one of Offaly’s rising stars.
