Captain David Graham scored a hat trick as City of Derry hit six tries to make it five home league wins in a row this season.

Richard McCarter’s team had to come from behind twice in the first half but they led 14-8 at the break thanks to scores from Stephen Corr and Graham’s first.

The game was still in the mix at half time, but two tries in the first five minutes of the second period saw Derry pull away and they didn’t look back. Simon Logue’s quick thinking saw him race away for his score and Graham ensured the bonus point with the fourth and his second shortly afterwards.

Dromore did pull a score back midway through the half, but Derry remained on top, with Killene Thorton scored a superb try before Graham completed his hat trick four minutes from the end.

It is now five league wins from five at home this season, w=ahead of a huge Junior Cup quarterfinal against Ballyclare next week.
