The front door of a house located in Dromore, Letterkenny was forced open and there were obvious signs of disturbance within the house but nothing was stolen.
The incident happened between the hours of 10:30am and 7:20pm on Thursday, February 29.
“We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in that area on that date to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” a garda spokesperson said. “The Garda Confidential line may be contacted on 1800 666 111.”
