Kilkenny Deaths - December 4, 2024

JOHN BRENNAN

The death has taken place of John Brennan, Daisy Terrace, Summerhill, Waterford and Mooncoin, Kilkenny. John passed away on Monday, December 2. Deeply mourned by his loving wife Eileen, sons Thomas and John Aidan, daughter Bernadette, daughters-in-law Sonya and Adonïa, son-in-law Marcellus. He will be forever missed by his beloved grandchildren Cara, Matthias, Belle and Andreas, sister Mary (Coe), brother-in-law Paddy, sister-in-law Maureen, nephews, nieces, extended family and his wide circle of close friends.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Wednesday (December 4) from 7pm to 8.30 pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, December 5 at 10.30 am in the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Barronstrand Street, Waterford, followed by burial in Mooncoin Old Cemetery (Chapel Street).

Patrick (Paddy) SKEHAN

The death has taken place of Patrick (Paddy) Skehan, 18 Newtown Tce Thomastown Co Kilkenny peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, December 3. 

Funeral Arrangements later.

BRIAN MCCABE

The death has taken place of Brian McCabe (Aylesbury, Freshford Road, Kilkenny) on Sunday, December 1 (unexpectedly) at his home. Loving father of Blake and Skye, much loved son of Susan and the late John. Sadly missed by his brother Scott, sister Tina, nephews, niece, aunts, uncle, cousins, his children's mother Pam, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home (R95 FH90) from 5.30pm on Wednesday, December 4 with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 6.30p.m. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12noon in St Canice's Church. A private Cremation will take place on Friday.
