A man has died in a fall from scaffolding on a building in Edinburgh.
Police said they were alerted to reports of the incident on Dublin Street at around 3pm on Tuesday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Tuesday August 19, we received a report that a man had fallen on Dublin Street, Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances.
“The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
An HSE spokesperson said: “We are aware of this incident and liaising with Police Scotland.”
