Joan Brennan, 26 Fairman Place, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Joan Brennan, 26th June 2024, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of Drogheda, Co. Louth), beloved wife of the late Michael, loving mother of Kieran, Thomas, Colette, Derek, Alan and the late Declan and Baby James and a devoted grandmother to all her grandchildren and a dear and loving sister of Angela, Patrick, Eamon and the late Cathy, John, Tony and Dessie. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Joan will be reposing at her home, 26 Fairman Place. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday, 29th June at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family Flowers Only. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
James (Seamus) Hasson, 17 Loup Road, Moneymore
The death has occurred of the late James (Seamus) Hasson, 26th June 2024, former Derry goalkeeper, beloved husband of Carmel and devoted father of Fearghal, Niall, Felicity and the late Enda. Son of the late James and Annie of Fincarn Feeny and loving brother of Ann, Joey, Nora and late Gerard and Dympna. Funeral from his home, 17 Loup Road, Moneymore on Saturday, 29th June at 9.45am for 10.30am Requiem Mass in Church of St. John and St. Trea Moneymore, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughter, daughters in law Ottilie and Anna, son in law Greg, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
Veronica Lynn (née McIvor), 4 Mawillian Road, Magherafelt
The death has taken place of the late Veronica Lynn (née McIvor), 26th June 2024, beloved wife of John and loving mother of Damian, Sinead, Geraldine and Peter, grandmother of Ciara, Anna, Michael, Roisin, Bronach, John-Peter, Martin, Niamh, Caoimhe and the late Hannah, dear sister of Anne, Patsy, Kathleen, Gerry, Raymond, Martin, Marian and the late Noreen. Funeral from her home, 44 Mawillian Road BT80 0AQ on Saturday, 29th June at 2.45pm for 3.30pm Requiem Mass in Church of St Patrick Loup via webcam st-patricks-roman-catholic-church - MCN, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St. John & St Trea Moneymore. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughters, daughter in law Joanne, sons in law Martin and Jonny, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
Edna McFarland (née Graham), 9 Convention Avenue, Portstewart
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Edna McFarland (née Graham), 26th June 2024, peacefully at Madelayne Court Nursing Home, Portstewart and late of 9 Convention Avenue, Portstewart. Edna, beloved wife of the late Roy and much loved mummy of Graham (Lisa) and Rhonda (Chris), much adored granny of Laura, sister of Valerie and the late Billy, Tom, Lil and Mary. Funeral Service in Portstewart Presbyterian Church on Friday at 11.00am, followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
