The following deaths have occurred:-
Eilish Lamberton (née McVeigh), 66 Clon Dara, Derry
The death has occurred of Eilish Lamberton (née McVeigh), 14th May 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Jim, loving mother of Jamie, devoted grandmother to Eve and Cáit, dear daughter of the late Jackie and Kathleen, loving sister of Seamus, Breige, Billy, Ann, Jacqueline, Kathleen, Eddie, Geraldine, John, Twin Martin, Andrew, Janet, Michelle and the late Pauline. Funeral leaving her home, 66 Clon Dara, on Tuesday, 16th May at 9.20am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
Norman Raymond Lucy, 2 Manor Park, Eglinton
The death has taken place of Norman Raymond Lucy, (Ex RUC G.C.), 13th May 2023, (peacefully) at home, 2 Manor Park, Eglinton, dearly loved husband of Margaret, loving father of Elaine, Trevor and Gregory and dearest papa of Scott, Jordan, Harry, Maia and Beth. His remains will be reposing in his home and visitors are welcome on Monday from 2.00pm to 5.00pm and 7.00pm to 9.00pm. A service of thanksgiving will take place in St Canice's Parish Church, Eglinton on Tuesday at 2.00pm followed by interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. Denis McGonagle, 38 Fountain Hill, Derry
The death has taken place of Denis McGonagle, 12th May 2023, beloved son of Kerry and Neil, 38 Fountain Hill, loving brother of Megan and Caolan, devoted grandson Annette, Stella and Christopher and a much loved nephew and uncle. His remains will be reposing in his home on Monday from 11.00am to 8.00pm. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Waterside. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Jim Moran, 26 Kingsfort Park, Derry
The death has taken place of Jim Moran, 13th May 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of the late Della, loving father of Deirdre, Michael and Jim, devoted grandfather of Clare, Teresa, Matthew, Maria and great-grandfather to Bláithín, dear brother of Pam, Collette and the late Frank, May, Michael, Joey, Fr. Brendan and Donal. Funeral leaving his home, 26 Kingsfort Park on Tuesday, 16th May at 9.20am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
