The following deaths have occurred:-
Lilian Henry (née Sidwell), 170 Cornshell Fields, Derry
The death has taken place of Lilian Henry (née Sidwell), 3rd December 2022, beloved wife of the late Patrick Anthony, late of 170 Cornshell Fields, loving mother of Rose, Paul, Theresa, Siobhan, Heather and the late Patrick, Christopher, John and William and a devoted grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Funeral from her daughter Roses' home, 52 Amelia Court, on Tuesday at 9.30am for 10o'clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in St Joseph's Cemetery, Glenullin. The Mass can be viewed live via the church webcam. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Mary Brigid McChrystal (née McAllister), 32 Parkmore Close, Magherafelt
The death has taken place of Mary Brigid McChrystal (née McAllister) (Magherafelt), 3rd December 2022, beloved wife of the late John and loving mother of Joe, Seamus, Eugene, Patricia (Cunningham), Caroline, Rynes (Monaghan) and Ronan, dear sister of Rosie McGuigan, Sarah O’Hagan, Josephine Shorten and the late Mickey and Hughie. Funeral from 32 Parkmore Close on Tuesday, 6th December at 1.15pm for 2.00pm for Requiem Mass in Church of St John Milltown, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, sisters and extended family circle. Family time please from 10.00pm to 10.00am.
John McDaid, 26 Larkhill, Derry
The death has occurred of John McDaid, 4th December 2022, loving husband of the late Pauline, 26 Larkhill, loving father of Kim, Sean, Niall, Michelle, Dermot and Claire, a much loved father-in-law, grandfather and brother and dear son of the late Kathleen and John McDaid, Tyrconnell Street. John’s wake will take place in his home today (Monday) and Tuesday from 12noon to 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Food Bank, Unit 15, Apex Living Centre, Springtown Industrial Estate, Derry City, BT48 0LY. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Anne O'Hagan, (née Murray), 30 Garden Street, Magherafelt
The death has occurred of Anne O'Hagan, (née Murray) (Magherafelt), 1st December 2022, beloved wife of Joe and loving mother of Michelle and Kathy (McCabe), grandmother of Nathan, Calum, Joshua, Anna, Isla-Roise, Eva and Noah, daughter of the late Bella and John Murray and dear sister of Veronica Mitchell, Hugh Frank, Paddy and the late Mary. Funeral from her home, 30 Garden Street on Tuesday, 6th December at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. Mary Coolcalm, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Paddy John O’Kane, 3 Glen Close, Maghera
The death has occurred of Paddy John O’Kane (Maghera), 3rd December 2022, beloved husband of the late Mabel, and loving father of Sean, Bernadette (Farren), Gerry, Mary (Stewart), Patricia, Danny, Michael, Rosemarie (McCracken), Angela and Barbara (Mulhern), son of the late Patrick and Mary O'Kane and dear brother of John O'Kane (England) and the late Rosie O'Kane and Bridget Moran. Funeral will leave from his home, 3 Glen Close, Maghera on Tuesday, 6th December at 10.40am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St Patrick Glen via webcam at St. Patrick’s Church Maghera Live Webcam Stream | MCN Media Live Streaming, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
