The following deaths have occurred:-
Eamon Dixon, Nicholson Gardens Ardmore
The death has occurred of Eamon Dixon, 15th March 2023, beloved son of the late Joseph and Mary Dixon, Nicholson Gardens Ardmore, father of Kirsty, Caolan and Cora, grandfather of Aoife and dear brother of Seamus, Brian, Paul, Maura, Claire and the late Liam, Collette and Nuala. Eamon’s remains will be removed from W.J. O’Brien & Son’s funeral home, Clooney Road, Eglinton on Thursday at 2.00pm to repose in his sister’s home, 23 Thornlea Gardens, Lisaghmore, Waterside. Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.25am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Ardmore. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Marie Curie C/o Mrs Joan Doherty, 20 Dunhugh Park, Victoria Park, Derry, BT47 2NL. Family time from 9.00pm to 11.00am please. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Bernard Ferris, 4 Old Mill Court, Derry
The death has taken place of Bernard Ferris, 15th March 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 4 Old Mill Court, beloved husband of the late Rosaleen, loving father of Marie, Jacqueline and Paula, devoted grandfather of Ciara, dear father-in-law to Cathair and Jim, loving brother of Mary Neary. Funeral leaving his home on Friday, 17th March at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Funeral Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
