We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Ellen (Ella) Cassells (née McCandless), September 30 2024, Ellen (Ella), peacefully at home, 31 Greenaway Drive, Coleraine. Devoted wife of the late Robert (Bertie), loving mother of Denise, Robert, Charles and the late Teddy, mother-in-law of John, Julie and Anna, much loved granny of Ella and Karen; Carla, Joel and Ashleigh; Justin, Daniel and Charley, dear great-granny of Jackson, Rayleigh, Casey and Hallie and sister of Violet and Sally. Family and friends are welcome to call at her home from 2pm on Wednesday to 5pm on Thursday. Funeral service in Killowen Parish Church on Friday at 12noon, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. No flowers please. Donations if wished to N.I. Desmond (Dessie) Grimes, London (formerly of Derry)
The death has taken place of the late Desmond (Dessie) Grimes, August 9 2024, peacefully at home in London following a short illness. Dessie, formerly of Violet Street Waterside, beloved partner of Rhona, precious son of the late Joe & Pauline and loving brother of Brian, Brendan & Niall, nephew of Louis and brother-in-law of Annette, Sadie and Helen and a much loved uncle and great-uncle. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Columb's Church, Chapel Road, Derry on Sunday, October 6 2024 at 12.30pm followed by interment of ashes in St Mary's Cemetery, Ardmore. Family flowers only. Beloved husband of Rosemary, much loved and loving father of Adrian and Brenda Fraser (Stephen) devoted grandfather of Jack and Euan. Son of the late Hugh and Jane McLaughlin R.I.P Aghanloo, Limavady and dear brother of Betty, Margaret, Monica, John, Brian and the late Hugh, Bridget and Mary R.I.P. Brother-in-law of Sean Farren, Eithne Kadri, Kathleen Samms and the late Gerardine Farren R.I.P. Very deeply regretted by the entire family Circle. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret Mary (née McGoldrick) and much-loved father of Anne (Muldoon), Deirdre (Kolbohm), Pat (McGlone) and Paula (McNicholl), brother of Jim, Brian, Marley and the late Mary Anne and Jack R.I.P.
