Almost 2,000 homes in south Donegal were left without power on Saturday night after the county was hit by thunderstorms.
ESB crews worked through the night to restore power to the majority of those affected.
The lightening-related outages mainly affected south west Donegal.
Homes in Kilcar, Carrick and Glencolmcille were plunged into darkness.
Premises in the Twin Towns and in Ballyshannon were also hit.
By Sunday morning, the bulk of affected people had their power turned back on.
