SJP and family back Donegal4Sam!

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has taken to Twitter this week to support Donegal in the All-Ireland Final.

She frequently visits the county, as her husband, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star Matthew Broderick has close family connections to Kilcar where they have a holiday home.

Her first tweet of support this week was to The Star, when she wrote:

“My body is in NYC but my heart is in Donegal.

“Let’s take the All Ireland and. Paddy, bring it home to Kilcar

“From Sarah Jessica and her son James.”

A few days later, she was at it again.

On a family holiday here in June they called into Gareth Britton’s All Sports shop in Donegal Town to buy team jerseys.

When Paula Doherty tweeted the 49-year-old actress this week to ask if she had them ready for the 21st, SJP replied: “My son does”.

Yesterday, Josy Burke thanked the star for cheering the county on and, once again, there was a reply.

“There is no other team to support!”

Once again, SJP has proved herself to be a great ambassador for the county and we couldn’t be prouder of her!
