Annie Reynolds, Gortermone, Carrigallen, Leitrim - Annie Reynolds NT (retired) Gortermone, Carrigallen and formerly Sonnaghconnor, Aughavas, Co. Leitrim. Peacefully at home, in the loving care of her family, after a short illness. Daughter of the late Julia and Francis Reynolds. Deeply regretted by her sisters Bridgie Doyle (Sean), Patricia Hoey (Monaghan), her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her nephew Brian's and his wife Miriam Doyle's residence Gortermone, tomorrow Monday, from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to arrive at St Joseph's Church, Aughavas, for funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the old cemetery. Joan Ann Callaghan (née Flaherty), Trim, Meath / Galway City, Galway / Fenagh, Leitrim - The death has occurred of Joan Ann Callaghan (née Flaherty) Gilbert, Arizona previously of Trim Co. Meath and born in Eyre Street Galway on Thursday the 27th of April 2023 peacefully at Mercy General Hospital, Arizona surrounded by her loving family. Deeply saddened by her husband; Joe and family; Noreen, Julie, Jimmy, Kate, Kevin, Kieran and Thomas, son-in-law; Patrick and daughters-in-law: Natasa and Natalie, grandchildren; Siobhan, Joseph, Tess, Jonathan, Aoife, Kevin, Padraig, Mary, Jamie, Hugh, Jason, Luke and Daniel, brothers and sisters; Maura, Noreen, Joe, Tess, Eugene & Eileen and predeceased by Hugh, Jack, Vinnie and Pete, her neighbours and friends in both Ireland and America. Joan’s Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of Mary Magdalene Gilbert Arizona at 11am on the 2nd of May. Eulogies and Rosary will take place beforehand. Reception held at Trilogy Club House. Bennie (James) Byrnes, Glebe, Drumsna, Leitrim / Ballinasloe, Galway - The death has occurred of Bennie (James) Byrnes, Glebe, Drumsna, Co. Leitrim, and formerly of Cappataggle, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, on Sunday 30th April 2023, peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Mary Frances. Sadly missed by his daughter Anne-Marie (O’Reilly), son-in-law Daniel, grandchildren Kate & Ben, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Bennie will repose in the funeral home at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, (N41 KP62) on Monday 1st of May from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 2nd at 12 noon in St. Michael’s Church Cappataggle, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway followed by burial afterwards in Killalaghton Cemetery. Jody Higgins, Deerpark, Boyle, Roscommon - The death has occurred of Jody Higgins, Deerpark, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, who died suddenly but peacefully at his home with his devoted family by his side on 29th April. Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Mary, brother Seamus and nephew Gary. Beloved husband and best friend of Dolores, much loved Daddy of Aoife, Orlaith and Joe, and brother of Seanie, Gerry and Mary (Dillon).
