Go ahead given for new housing development in Blackrock
Louth County Council grants conditional planning permission
Louth County Council has given the go ahead for a new housing development at Birch's Lane in Blackrock, that will see the construction of 14 new houses.
Bernadette Heaney applied to Louth County Council last June, for planning permission for a housing development of 15 dwellings at Birch’s Lane.
The planned development comprised four, four-bed detached units; three, three-bed terrace units; two, three-bed semi-detached units; and six, two-bed terrace units. The planning application also provides for an alteration to the existing site entrance and all associated site development works.
The local planning authority sought further information on the proposed development in August of last year. Significant further information was provided in May to Louth County Council, which included revised house designs and a revised site layout which resulted in a reduction to 14 dwellings.
It also included revised road and services networks and all associated site development works together with amendments to other requested specialist reports.
Louth County Council granted conditional planning permission for the development to go ahead on 6 June.
