Saturday's weather forecast for Louth

Dry Saturday morning, with some bright or sunny spells.

Cloud will build from the west through the morning, with rain spreading eastwards through the afternoon, arriving along the east coast at around nightfall.

The rain will turn heavy at times. Becoming blustery with the arrival of the rain, with southerly winds increasing fresh and occasionally gusty.

Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.

On Saturday night any residual rain will clear the east early in the night while scattered showers will extend over the western half of the country.

However it will turn mostly dry and clear in the east.

Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees in a moderate to fresh and blustery westerly wind.
