Liam Leahy celebrated his 100th birthday in a very special way by cutting the ribbon at the official opening of the Tipperary Development and Skills Centre at Bank Place in Tipperary Town.

Cllr John O’Heney said it was a huge honour to have Liam perform the official opening on such a significant day in his life.

The centre, which has been several years in the making, is expected to bring valuable employment and educational opportunities to people throughout Tipperary and the wider region.

Located in the heart of Tipperary Town, the new development also incorporates Cllr O’Heney’s constituency office and his business as a Commissioner for Oaths.

Cllr O’Heney said the opening marked an important milestone for the town, while Liam’s 100th birthday made the occasion even more memorable.

Congratulations to Liam Leahy on reaching this remarkable milestone and best wishes to Cllr John O’Heney on the opening of the new centre.
